Es ist Montag. Und wie an an jedem zweiten Montag seit 2007 (!) bedeutet dies auch heute wieder, dass am Ballindamm eine bayrische Stimmung herrschen wird. Unser Freund und hoch geschätzter Kollege Gerhard Meir ist wieder von München nach Hamburg geflogen um heute seine Kunden mit Blick auf die Alster und den Jungfernstieg bedienen zu können.
Über Gerhard Meir wurde und wird ja viel geschrieben. Seine besondere Beziehung zu seinen vielen namhaften Kunden wie z.B. Gloria von Thurn und Taxis, über seine Power, seine Leidenschaft für höchste Qualität und seinen Enthusiasmus. Es stimmt ja auch, halbe Sachen sind nicht so sein Ding. Wenn man mich auf Gerhard anspricht, dann verwende ich diese Bezeichnungen jedoch alle nicht. Sie stimmen zwar alle, aber noch bemerkenswerter finde ich zwei andere Eigenschaften: Professionalität und Beständigkeit.
Wir kooperieren ja seit 2007. Und seit dem weichte Gerhard Meir nicht einen Millimeter von seinen fachlichen Ansprüchen ab. Er fordert von allen Nicolaisen-Mitarbeitern und auch von sich selbst höchste Professionalität. Es gibt Tage da bedient er über 30 Kunden, und auch an solchen Tagen erhält Kundin Nummer 30 die gleiche Aufmerksamkeit wie schon Kundin Nummer 1. Immer hoch konzentriert, immer fokussiert auf seine Gäste und auf das Team um ihn herum. Und er gibt jedem im Team immer das Gefühl wertgeschätzt zu werden. Ich sag´s ja: Hoch professionell!
Und natürlich gab es zwischen 2007 und heute auch immer mal unterschiedliche Phasen. Gute Zeiten, schwierige Zeiten. Tage voller Leichtigkeit und Tage die einen besonders forderten. Wer Gerhard Meir gut kennt, erkennt diese Schwankungen. Doch egal wie schwer die Zeit auch sein mag, ob er selbst unter höchstem Termindruck steht oder einen neuen Salon in München eröffnet – es würde ihm nicht im Traum einfallen seine Kunden in Hamburg zu enttäuschen. Er ist immer da. Immer! Seit 2007 beständig und verlässlich! Ein hoher Wert, besonders in der heutigen Gesellschaft, die für mich gefühlt manchmal zu schnell den Weg des geringeren Wiederstands wählt. Und auch diese Beständigkeit zahlt sich aus, schließlich freuen sich auch heute alle wieder auf einen „Meir-Tag“! Und das ist doch wunderbar. Das macht diese Kooperation für beide Seiten so besonders!
