Vor ein paar Tagen hatte mir mein Vater einen Link zu einem Film gesendet. Anschließend saß ich 12 Minuten gebannt vor dem Bildschirm. Es sind Farbfilm-Aufnahmen aus Hamburg aus dem Jahr 1948. Glücklicherweise sind die Aufnahmen nicht mit Musik oder ähnlichem hinterlegt, sondern zeigen pur das Strassenleben in der Hansestadt drei Jahre nach Kriegsende.
Diese Aufnahmen sind für mich schon sehr besonders. Man erkennt natürlich einige Straßen und Gebäude sofort wieder, aber manchmal ist es auch so, als ob dieser Film aus einer anderen Welt stammt. Als ich mir bewusst machte dass diese Aufnahmen „erst“ 67 Jahre alt sind, bekam ich noch mehr Respekt vor der Generation meiner Eltern. Wenn man zwischen den Trümmern lachende und spielen Kinder sieht, dann fragt man sich doch zwangsläufig was die drei Jahre zuvor alles durchgemacht haben. Und ich frage mich dann, wie man als Ehepaare überhaupt auf die Idee kamen während des zweiten Weltkrieges Kinder zu zeugen und groß zu ziehen. Wahnsinn. Und schön! Zeigt es doch, dass man die Hoffnung niemals aufgeben sollte. Zu recht!
