Politik ist ein oft schweres Unterfangen, besonders bei Konversationen in einem Friseursalon. Deswegen klammert man politische Themen gerne aus. Und was für die Salons zählt, zählt natürlich auch für diesen Blog. Mir geht´s heute auch gar nicht um Politik. Mir geht´s um einen Politiker. Sebastian Edathy.
Wer mich privat kennt der weiß, dass ich es grausam finde, wenn Menschen öffentlich an den Pranger gestellt werden. Bei Herrn Edathy ist dies etwas anders, weil es für mich als bewiesen gilt, dass der SPD Politiker kinderpornografisches Material besseren hat. Alle Punkte aufzuzählen, von den geklauten Laptops bis zu rhetorisch hoch fragwürdigen Redewendungen, verkneife ich mir heute. Warum ich dieses Thema überhaupt nun in meinen Blog aufgreife, liegt an einem Facebook-Eintrag von Til Schweiger.
Der Schauspieler fragt sich, in was für einer Zeit wir eigentlich leben! Eine Person (Sebastian Edathy) konsumiert Videos, die so viele Kinder direkt verletzen und zerstören, und zahlt dafür eine Strafe von 5.000,00 Euro. Eine andere Person (Marco Reus) fuhr ohne Fahrerlaubnis, verletzte niemanden, und muss 500.000,00 Euro Strafe zahlen. Ist das richtig so?
Ganz ehrlich? Ich kann das auch nicht beantworten. Man fühlt sich ohnmächtig. Irgendetwas stimmt in unserem Rechtssystem anscheinend nicht. Auch in meinen Augen stimmt die Verhältnismäßigkeit nicht. Und dann fragt man sich natürlich warum das so ist. Und dann blickt man auf den Beruf von Herrn Edathy und bekommt solch ein mulmiges Gefühl. Kann das eventuell dann doch daran liegen, dass hier das richtige Netzwerk und die richtigen Kontakte vorhanden waren? Ich mag´s eigentlich kaum glauben.
Nein. Ich glaube das auch nicht. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass ein Jurist mir dieses gefühlte Ungleichgewicht sogar ganz gut erklären könnte. Sicherlich sind juristisch beide Fälle getrennt von einander zu betrachten und beide Fälle sind jeweils für sich logisch und erklärbar. Aber… es fühlt sich nicht richtig an!
Übrigens: Die 5.000,00 Euro sollte Sebastian Edathy nach der Einstellung des Verfahrens gegen ihn an den Kinderschutzbund Niedersachsen zahlen. Doch der will das Geld nicht annehmen. Moralisch sei das nicht vertretbar.
