Die Musik in unseren Salons ist „Chefsache“. In allen drei Salons befinden sich iPod´s, welche ich mit meinem privaten Computer zu Hause synchronisiere. Aktuell sind exakt 555 Songs auf jedem iPod. Das bedeutet wir das jeder Song statistisch gesehen nur 2,2x pro Woche abgespielt wird. Da wir jeden Morgen die iPod´s im „Shuffle-Modus“ starten, kann es jedoch schon passieren, dass einige Songs täglich zu hören sind, andere dafür die ganze Woche nicht gespielt werden. So bleibt es für alle spannend 🙂
Unsere Salonteams berichten mir immer wieder mal, dass wir des öfteren wegen der guten Musikauswahl gelobt werden. Das freut mich natürlich. Aktuell bin ich wieder dabei die Musik neu zusammen zu stellen. Gut 150 Songs werden wohl rausfliegen, über 200 neue Songs werden den Weg auf die iPod´s finden. Darunter auch neue Klänge meiner absoluten Lieblingsband „Simply Red“! 2007, also kurz nachdem wir unseren Salon am Ballindamm eröffnet haben, ist ihr letztes Album erschienen. Mein Gott, was ist alles in dieser Zeit passiert….? Ende Mai erscheint nun endlich ein neues Album von Mick Huknall und seinen Jungs. „Big Love“ wird das neue Album heißen. Und wenn man es jetzt bei iTunes vorbestellt, bekommt man schon jetzt drei Tracks vorab auf die Festplatte geladen. Habe ich natürlich gemacht. Und bin begeistert!
Wenn das Album veröffentlicht ist, werde ich hier im Blog mal etwas ausführlicher auf „Simply Red“ eingehen. Ich kann da nämlich die ein oder andere Anekdote erzählen. Jetzt erst einmal wünsche ich Euch viel Spaß mit der neuen Single „Shine on“. Und uns allen wünsche ich natürlich einen wunderbaren Freitag!
