Gestern besuchte uns überraschend Manuela Maurer im Stadtpalais. Frau Maurer ist die Initiatorin der „Hundebande“ welche wir in diesem Dezember aktiv in allen Salons unterstützen. Wir sind von der Idee und Umsetzung der „Hundebande“ zu 100% überzeugt. Gerade in Zeiten in denen sehr massiv zu Spenden aufgerufen wird und meistens nur „die Großen“ mediale Erwähnung erhalten, finden wir es ganz wichtig auch „die Kleinen“ Projekte zu unterstützen.
Und damit man mir das nicht falsch auslegt: Selbstverständlich haben ALLE Projekte und Organisationen ihre Existenzberechtigung! Egal ob man die Hundebande, die Aids-Stifftung, „Ein Herz für Kinder“, die Sternenbrücke, die Hamburger Tafel oder den Kindergarten um die Ecke unterstützt – alles ist wertvoll! Keiner ist „besser“ als der andere. Unseren Fokus haben wir dieses Jahr auf die Hundebande gelegt, weil wir es großartig finden wie hierbei zwei völlig unterschiedliche Gruppen aktiv unterstützt werden! Und Manuela Maurer engagiert sich ganz vorbildlich! Es ist uns eine große Freude die Hundebande zu unterstützen!
Wir wollen Menschen helfen ihren Weg zu finden. Die Hundebande organisiert eine neunmonatige Grundausbildung von Welpen zu Blindenführhunden durch weibliche Strafgefangene – und verbindet so die Herausforderungen zweier Lebenswelten auf neue Art miteinander: Perspektiven für Menschen im Strafvollzug und die Bedürfnisse blinder Menschen.
Eigentlich hatten wir geplant die Spendenaktion mit dem heiligen Abend zu beenden. Simona und ich haben nun beschlossen die Aktion bis zu Silvester fortzuführen. Wer also von Euch noch spenden möchte, kommt bitte in einen unserer Salons. Mehr Infos gibt es auf der hier verlinkten „Hundebande-Facebook-Seite„.

Die Salons Nicolaisen Intercoiffure Hamburg unterstützen die Hundebande in der Vorweihnachtszeit! Das Engagement des gesamten Nicolaisen-Teams für die Hundebande ist großartig: Seit Anfang Dezember stehen in allen drei Salons Informationstafeln der Hundebande. Die Mitarbeiter helfen uns, indem sie interessierten Kunden über das Projekt berichten. Kunden, Mitarbeiter und Freunde der Salons können gleich vor Ort spenden. Zusätzlich spendet der Salon für jeden Haarschnitt inkl. Farbbehandlung einen Betrag an die Hundebande.
